Service Engine - Area 05
Service history that reads like a record, not a receipt.
Every visit written to a unit becomes part of a durable record - by product, by customer, and across a model line. When a pattern starts to repeat, the engine surfaces it before the third visit is logged.

What this area does
Three things it gets right.
Per-unit chronology
Every service event on a unit stays with the unit for its entire life - across ownership transfers and contract renewals.
Per-customer view
A customer with three appliances sees one history across all three, not three separate timelines.
Repeat-issue detection
When the same complaint recurs on a unit or across a model, the pulse surfaces it to the brand and to the technician assigned next.
Worked example
Three visits, one repeat-issue signal.
Visit 1
Coolant top-up
Coolant low. Recorded as minor service event.
Visit 2 (60 d later)
Coolant top-up
Same complaint recurring. Auto-flagged for review.
Pattern surfaced
Repeat-issue
Sent to brand-side dashboard and to next technician.
Root cause captured
Coil micro-leak
Written back to unit and to X200 model failure history.
A note on honesty. History is only as complete as the close-out written by the technician. Where the tech app is bypassed, events land as free-text notes with reduced downstream value for prediction.
